Education:

B.S. Agriculture, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID, 1965
Ph.D. Entomology, university of Illinois, Urbana, IL, 1971

Research Description:

Current research program focuses on: 1) determination of key factors in the life histories of medically-important arthropods (esp. mosquitoes) which may be exploited to better manage these public health pests and carrier of disease agents; 2) the development of control tactics that may be integrated into existing and proposed pest and vector-borne disease management programs which involve medically-important arthropods; and the conduct of pervasive research on the bionomics and disease relationships of key mosquito and other arthropodan species which affect human and animal health in Texas and, in certain instances, in other parts of the world.
