Research Description:
Biochemistry of viruses as it relates to viral pathogenesis and mechanism(s) of disease; the induction of diarrhea by viral enterotoxins; the interaction of viral proteins with lipids, cultured cells and the gastrointestinal tract; calcium mobilization and ion transport; signal transduction; characterization of viral enterotoxins; peptide chemistry; intracellular transport and polarity; bovine, porcine, simian, and human rotaviruses; equine infectious anemia virus and siminan immunodeficiency virus.
