PLPA 620

Plant Pathology

Credit Hours: 3 with laboratory

Course Description:
The emphasis is on the molecular biology of host-virus interactions; topics will include virus replication, gene expression, movement, symptoms, transmission, and control; current literature and techniques important to virology will be presented.

Requirements:
Although there are no strict course requirements, a general knowledge of genetics and molecular biology is expected.

Course Evaluation:
Midterm: 25%
Final: 35%
Lab Report: 15%
Papers/Discussion: 25%
